Redefined for the new generation

The production design was also very well-thought-out and curated (shoutout to Mayle Kor and his team). The old office furniture, knick-knacks such as typewriter, sticky notes, and water dispenser were all part of the set decoration.
On the other hand, the mood for episode 2 was more uplifting, upbeat and lively. It also contains more erratic handheld camera movements, neon lights and colours, and a lot of careful planning.
Our inspirations include the music videos In Between Days by The Cure & Always by House of Harm.
We also experimented with mylar sheets, DIY-ed our own T5 tubes and worked with analogue TV as a creative workaround to feature Lullaboy.

The colour palettes for episode 1 were very 80's inspired with sepia accents in detail. We used traditional film fixtures such as tungsten fresnels and gelled up our LED lights. We also relied heavily on optical filters such as ProMist to take off the modern edge.
The colour-grading process was tedious and we went through several iterations before arriving at a final grade we were satisfied with. The finishing touch to the look was our usage of the Kodak Vision 3 (5223) film emulation pipeline.
Some of our inspirations include "Maniac", "Better Call Saul" and Puma Blue's A Late Night Special (Film)

We were posed with a setlist with songs being vastly different from each other, and to counter this - we lighted and dressed the set twice and accounted for a set change in the middle. Both segments were each topped off with a special performing guest with their own look.
